March 18, 2011 — BioPosture Inc., a manufacturer of BioMemoryFoam eco-friendly mattresses, pillows, and health products, announced that Martin Kotlar, DC, president of Target Coding, is now a member of the BioPosture Professional Advisory Board.
BioPosture manufactures “green” BioMemoryFoam mattresses with a patented design that provides unmatched comfort and anatomical support to produce sleep in natural balance.
“Dr. Kotlar has an impressive background as a doctor of chiropractic, educator, author, and medical practice consultant. He is a recognized leader in the insurance billing and coding sector and provides chiropractors with customized support services and solutions. His expertise in medical coding and reimbursement will be an integral part of the growth of BioPosture in the months and years to come. We welcome him to our advisory board,” said Thomas Williams, BioPosture president and CEO.
“I have found that many patients with pain related to injuries or chronic conditions also had poor sleep patterns. Kotlar was in private chiropractic practice for 12 years and in multispecialty practice for four years. He began his consulting career with a special emphasis on CPT coding, billing, reimbursement, documentation, and compliance for chiropractic and multispecialty facilities.
He regularly makes presentations to chiropractors across the nation and has written seven books on chiropractic and physical medicine and rehabilitation coding, compliance, and documentation. Kotlar is certified in CPT coding, certified in Healthcare Compliance and has earned other professional and industry certifications and designations. He is also a member of the American Chiropractors Association.
