May 1, 2015 — Updates to the Auto-Debit System module of the Cash Practice Systems were estimated to be released on Wednesday, April 29. The update features several new capabilities that have been highly requested by members of the systems.
Most prominent of the new features is the ability to set Auto-Debit Payment Reminders. This new feature allows the user to create a scheduled auto-debit that reminds the user to collect the funds instead of automatically collecting them.
Cash practice members routinely requested this feature so they could have an easy way to remember to collect “cash” from patients who did not want to leave a credit card or bank account on file.
“We are always listening to our members’ feedback as to what they want in Cash Practice Systems,” said Miles Bodzin, DC, the company’s CEO. “I am thrilled with the new features we’ve added for our members, especially the Payment Reminders.”
Scheduling a payment reminder won’t actually process the payment; it simply reminds the user it is time to collect payment. On the day the payment is due, the user then has the option to collect cash or a check over the counter or process the payment with the Virtual Terminal or Simple Swiper.
Another new highly requested feature is the ability to access any billing information previously used to process a payment.
The new Billing Vault securely stores the credit card and bank EFT information allowing the user to access it when necessary. This is a big enhancement to the system, as previously only one credit card and one bank account could be stored for each patient.
“This is a game changer for our Auto-Debit System and I was blown away by how easy it is to use,” Bozdin said. “No need to manually enter the credit card or bank EFT data. The fact that the credit card or bank EFT was already used in a prior transaction allows us to access it for future transactions.”
Holly Jensen, the director of operations at Cash Practice commented further: “Since Cash Practice Systems is web-based, members will receive these new updates as soon as they’re released. No need to worry about installing anything new. Just watch the new training videos and you’re ready to go”.
This update to the Auto-Debit System is just the first in a series of brand new updates being released for Cash Practice Systems this year. As an innovative company, since 2003 they have been inventing new ways to make practices run more efficiently and profitably.
The Auto-Debit System system is one of the four modules from Cash Practice Systems. In addition, it includes The Wellness Score, Cash Plan Calculator, and Drip-Education System. This 4-Step process helps chiropractors increase patient retention and free themselves from the shackles of insurance dependence.
