June 24, 2014 — The California Chiropractic Association (CCA), the Sacramento-based statewide, nonprofit organization of chiropractic doctors and allied industries, has announced that Brian Stenzler, DC, was elected President of CCA.
Stenzler succeeds Matt Hubbard, DC, also of San Diego, who now serves as immediate past president.
“I am honored to have been elected by my CCA peers to help fulfill our vision of doctors of chiropractic as the first choice for wellness and the optimization of health,” Stenzler said. “I look forward to positioning the California Chiropractic Association as a vibrant, creative, relevant and substantive organization that makes a difference in the lives of members, local districts, the business community, and the California families we serve.”
Stenzler received his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1998 and received honors in Clinical Excellence.Â In 1999, he received a Master’s in Sports Health ScienceÂ from Life University.
Starting his career in Long Island, New York, Stenzler co-founded DREAM Wellness with locations in Great Neck and Lake Grove. Â While practicing in New York, he held several positions on the Board for the NY Chiropractic Council, including president of Nassau County and was a member of the Council’s Executive Board.
In 2006, Stenzler moved to San Diego and opened DREAM Wellness centers in Pacific Beach and Del Mar.Â He previously served two terms as president of the California Chiropractic Association San Diego County District and also held positions on the CCA’s Executive Committee prior to being elected president.
Stenzler’s illustrious 16-plus-year-career is highlighted with honors including New York Chiropractic Council’s Chiropractor of the Year, The World Chiropractic Alliance’s Outstanding Service Award, The Chiropractic Leadership Alliance’s “On Purpose” doctor ofÂ the month and many more.Â He had beenÂ recognized by the American Red Cross for assisting the rescue and relief workers at Ground Zero following the 9/11 tragedy.
His humanitarian efforts continued into San Diego when he served chiropractic care to the firefighters in the 2007 Firestorm, and he also spent time on a mission trip to Panama where chiropractic is not easily accessible to the citizens of that country.
He travels the world as a guest speaker at chiropractic conferences and colleges, and lectures and performs workshops at numerous businesses, schools and civic organizations as a wellness expert. He has also been featured on television and radio shows around the country.
Stenzler also received the prestigious 2012 Doctor of the Year award from the California Chiropractic Association, San Diego County District.
Stenzler has been a member of the United States Golf Association’s Wellness Team since 2009, serving chiropractic to the professional golfers participating in the U.S. Open Tournament.Â In addition, he provides chiropractic care to many current and retired professional athletes and celebrities but really prides himself on the work he does serving families within the San Diego communities.
Stenzler enjoys taking care of newborn babies and pregnant women and is certified in the Webster Tehnique. Every day when he arrives to his office before opening the door to DREAM Wellness, with gratitude he looks up and says, “You send them, I’ll serve them!”
