November 17, 2016 – Biotics Research Corporation, an industry leader in the development and manufacturing of superior, gluten-free nutritional supplements available through healthcare professionals, is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
“We are honored and humbled to have had the opportunity to serve both practitioners and patients for four decades,” said Denis DeLuca, president of Biotics Research. “We are proud to have led the profession in so many areas, from providing over 300 gluten-free nutritional supplements, to engaging in clinical research with some of the top researchers in the world.”
While most nutritional supplement companies speak in terms of having great products, high quality, etc., few regularly participate directly in clinical and empirical research as does Biotics Research, and even fewer are seen in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Other differentiators include a manufacturing process that exceeds cGMP requirements, lab analysis that always meets and often exceeds FDA requirements, labeling that is completely transparent, and nutritional supplements that are, and always have been, gluten-free.
The name “Biotics Research” was chosen specifically to represent the considerable time, effort, and investment made in conducting cutting-edge research. From day one, research has always been a cornerstone of the company’s unique culture, and has led to many firsts in the industry that others have followed.
Some products take several years to develop and test before they are introduced into the market. Biotics Research considers the challenges facing patients, and interacting with leading clinicians, they look to evidenced-based answers from both nature and science to see where they can achieve desired patient outcomes. The raw material evaluation process can be very extensive, sometimes taking years.
Celebrating over 300 gluten-free nutritional supplements, Biotics Research got its start in 1976. Denis DeLuca, president of Biotics Research, shared how it all started. “The driving force of the creation of what would become Biotics Research was a quest to seek answers the traditional medical community couldn’t provide. A family member was diagnosed with a terminal illness and our father found himself frustrated with the lack of answers he was getting from the medical community and turned to alternative solutions. He found answers in both science and nature, thereby extending and improving the quality of our cousin’s life for several years.”
