Author explains how technology can spread the chiropractic message

Chiropractic Economics March 18, 2010

March 18, 2010 — Dr. Jason Deitch, co-author of the bestselling book “Discover Wellness: How Staying Healthy Can Make You Rich” and founder of the Discover Wellness Center spoke to Parker students, faculty, and staff during an all-school assembly.

With a different approach to healthcare, Deitch combines the skills of a variety of healthcare professionals with the latest technology and revolutionary concepts.

He has a passion for a healthier America. “It’s up to you and me to make positive differences,” said Deitch.

Deitch explained to the audience how B.J. Palmer had a broadcast station he used to promote chiropractic. He asked the audience how they thought B.J. Palmer would be using today’s technology to get the message of chiropractic out to the world.

“Start getting out there and speaking up to communicate the message,” said Deitch.

He provided tips on how to communicate chiropractic information to the general public including, creating a message people want to know more about, delivering the message where most people can find it, telling them why they should care about the message, and providing them examples they can relate with like the healthcare crisis and bankruptcy.

He provided the students with strategies to communicate to the public including, recording a tele-seminar and putting it on the Internet and appearing on the local news and other media outlets to reach the community.

Deitch advised students to determine what kind of practice they want to have before they begin to form it.

He also told the future chiropractors to create a practice with an environment where people really enjoy going.  He also advised students to produce a wellness team in their practices by finding wellness provides such as massage therapists, acupuncturists, wellness specialist, life coach, and more.
