Adding a supplement to your practice

Chiropractic Economics February 14, 2011

February 14, 2011 — If you’ve been thinking about adding a specialty to your practice or are looking for a way to stand out in the crowd, consider nutrition counseling. Patients who visit doctors of chiropractic are often looking for natural ways to enhance their health, so adding a nutrition component to your practice can be a “natural” fit, as well.

“Nutrition is a great complement to chiropractic because it addresses the biochemical aspects of the body while chiropractic addresses the biomechanical aspects,” says Juanee Surprise, DC, NMD, DCBCN, secretary of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition.
