ACA, Sharecare educate consumers about chiropractic

Chiropractic Economics October 1, 2010

October 1, 2010 — The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has partnered with Sharecare Inc. — a new company created by Internet entrepreneur Jeff Arnold, and Dr. Mehmet Oz, a leading cardiac surgeon, health expert and host of “The Dr. Oz Show,” along with Harpo Studios, Sony Pictures Television and Discovery Communications — to answer health and wellness questions on the company’s soon-to-be-launched interactive website.

In addition to ACA, Sharecare has partnered with other major national associations in healthcare, along with prominent non-profit and professional societies that represent the world’s leading medical expertise.

From the American Red Cross to Challenge America to the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Sharecare is bringing together the top minds in the healthcare field to provide consumers with multiple perspectives within a single website dedicated to improving health.

This information will arm patients with all their options in regard to healthcare, and empower them to make better, more informed choices.
