Echelon announces new lightweight, wearable PEMF device

Chiropractic Economics Staff July 30, 2013

cotfheader2July 29, 2013 — Max A. Poritzky, president of Echelon, recently announced the launch of Chiropractor of the Future (COF). The Santa Cruz, Calif.,-based group is designed to be a venue for presenting the latest in technology-based treatment modalities exclusively to the chiropractic market.

“Our mission at Chiropractor of the Future is to advance the chiropractic profession by improving treatment outcomes. We do this by identifying, developing, and delivering information and products that best support DCs in the constant effort to innovate, educate, and demonstrate the value of chiropractic care.”

“We are particularly pleased that our flagship product offering is the RecoveryRx device,” Poritzky added. “This product represents a significant advance in the delivery system for pain management therapy for the DC. Simultaneously the professional exclusivity provides a differentiation from other health professionals. We are only offering this technology through licensed chiropractors in the U.S. and Canada,” said Poritzky.

Poritzky continued: “Every day, dozens of chiropractors across North America are adopting RecoveryRx as their “standard of care“ for pain, inflammation, and swelling, and are achieving amazing success, as they improve outcomes for their patients with chronic and acute pain.”

Poritzky noted the rapid acceptance of PEMF by patients. “The simplicity of use with zero side effects enhances patient compliance dramatically. Patients ‘get’ this technology and appreciate how easy it is to use.”

A recent study from Gallup-Healthways shows that 47 percent of people in North America have at least one kind of chronic pain (meaning they have either neck or back pain, leg or knee pain, and/or another kind of pain), and 7 percent of people said they experienced all three kinds of chronic pain on a regular basis.

“This represents an immense opportunity for chiropractors to both serve their client base and attract new clients who have been unable to find relief from other sources” said Poritzky. “It can’t be simpler for the DC to have this revolutionary pain relief device available.”

The most common applications are for:

  • Tendonitis
  • Fractures
  • Sprains and strains (ankles, knees, elbows, shoulders, necks)
  • Bulging painful discs
  • Neuropathy
  • Post-surgical swelling/bruising and incision healing
  • Arthritic pain
  • Shin splints

The Chiropractor of the Future business  model  is  designed  to  serve  the demanding professional market. “To get this product,” Poritzky said, “we’ve created a simple process. The DC simply goes to our web site (www.chiropractorofthefuture.com) and registers. Once we’ve checked professional credentials, the DC is given a password that allows him to go on the sight and order directly. Shipping from our Idaho-based fulfillment warehouse allows us to offer two- to three-day shipping on all orders”
