The Joint Corp. announces rapid growth in Colorado

Chiropractic Economics Staff June 8, 2013

The_Joint_The_Chiropractic_Place_Logo_Black_highresJune 8, 2013 — The Joint Corp., a leading franchisor of chiropractic clinics, announces that they are half way to selling out their Colorado Region. The clinics are owned by Back Shack III and Chiropractic Healthcare Solutions and are managed by Regional Developer for The Joint Colorado, Brad Remington.

“Making the benefits of quality chiropractic care extremely affordable and convenient to the millions of Americans who need it can’t happen fast enough,” said John Leonesio, CEO of The Joint Corp. “Our standardized clinic model is ideal for brand awareness and rapid growth through franchising. We believe it will set a new benchmark in the industry for patients and chiropractors who will both benefit from The Joint’s ability to deliver the highest standard of care simply and inexpensively.”

With more than 30 years in the broadcasting industry, Remington came across The Joint concept as a patient with ongoing pain from an injury as a young adult. After becoming a regular patient of a clinic in Arizona he began looking into the concept as a business opportunity. He had been telecommuting to Colorado for four plus years as his wife, Nan, is Head of Lower School at the prestigious Graland Country Day School in Denver. He was ready to make a change out of the television industry, engage his entrepreneurial spirit and move to the city he loves.

“As a long time patient of traditional chiropractic care, The Joint impressed me from my first visit,” said Remington. “When I found out this was a franchise model, I knew this was the business for me,” said Remington.

Growth in the Denver area has been rapid with 11 clinics opening in just two years in the Front Range area with several clinics slated to open within the next three months. “The Joint model brings chiropractic care to everyone, there is truly no business like this,” states Remington.

The Joint has 391 clinics open or in development in 26 states.
