Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research: two manuscripts published

February 15, 2013 — The Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research is pleased to announce the publication of two manuscripts.

The first is “Relationship between Biomechanical Characteristics of Spinal Manipulation and Neural Responses in an Animal Model: Effect of Linear Control of Thrust Displacement versus Force, Thrust Amplitude, Thrust Duration, and Thrust Rate,” published in the open access journal Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Palmer authors and collaborators on this paper include: William Reed, Dong-Yuan Cao, Cynthia Long, Gregory Kawchuk, and Joel Pickar.

The other manuscript is “Collaborative Care for Older Adults with low back pain by family medicine physicians and doctors of chiropractic (COCOA): study protocol for a randomized controlled trial,” in the open access journal Trials. Palmer authors on this paper include Christine Goertz, Stacie Salsbury, Robert Vining, Cynthia Long, Maria Hondras, and Lisa Killinger.
