Life Chiropractic College West names Stephanie Williams Student of the Year

Chiropractic Economics Staff September 8, 2012

September 8, 2012 — The Alumni Association of Life Chiropractic College West named Stephanie Williams, a first quarter senior from San Diego as its 2012 Student of the Year.

Williams decided to pursue the profession after working as a chiropractic assistant and falling in love with the chiropractic philosophy. During her time at Life West, she has been involved in several organizations including the IFCO, ICPA, ICA, CCA, F4CP, WCCS, Legion of Chiropractic Women, and has served as the student council treasurer and, most recently, as the student council president.

She volunteers around campus and has recently joined the Champions for Life program which focuses on increasing enrollment and awareness of vitalistic chiropractic.

She has been a finalist for the past three years in the Talk the ‘Tic competition.  She is also a member of the Omega Sigma Phi sorority, which is dedicated to promote and protect the principles of chiropractic. Williams has also taken several chiropractic mission trips both locally and internationally.  She has a passion for serving families and children and has completed all her new patient requirements in her first clinic quarter.
