The American Chiropractic Association announces new corporate members

Chiropractic Economics October 9, 2011

October 9, 2011 — The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) announced that the following organizations have demonstrated their support for ACA’s mission to advance the chiropractic profession by joining the association as corporate members:

Breakthrough Coaching is a practice management consulting and personal coaching firm that helps DCs achieve their goals, by arming them with a system of sound business principles, concrete plans and clearly defined steps designed to lead DCs where they want to go.

ChiroTouch is a fully integrated practice management system that handles every step of a patient’s visit. Advanced scheduling, billing, chart notes, treatment plans, automated check-in and electronic records are just a few of the features that complete the ChiroTouch package.

KMC University is a reimbursement consultant—featuring renowned expert Kathy Mills Chang — that offers personalized attention and 24/7 access to a wealth of tools. KMC University helps DCs manage reimbursement related issues such as coding, documentation and compliance, Medicare, billing and patient finances.

NCMIC offers a flexible credit card processing program. No long-term commitment is required, and NCMIC can reprogram existing terminals, or DCs can rent or buy NCMIC’s equipment. The company also offers debit card transactions, check processing, gift-card redemption and more.

Vatech Rayence manufactures a real flat panel digital X-ray solution for DCs. Its detectors provide outstanding stability and consistent hospital quality images in about 3-4 seconds — without cameras to calibrate or cassettes to run through a CR reader.

ACA’s Corporate Membership Program provides partner companies a way to demonstrate meaningful support for the chiropractic profession while also increasing their profile within the chiropractic community. ACA connects its partner companies to the entire spectrum of ACA members—not only chiropractic physicians, but also thousands of chiropractic students with years of practice ahead of them and chiropractic assistants who make many purchase decisions. Corporate member dues, in turn, help ACA continue its many initiatives aimed at advancing the chiropractic profession and expanding access to care for patients.

“Doctors of chiropractic bear the burden of juggling expert patient care with the demands of running a business,” said ACA President Keith Overland, DC. “Building bridges between doctors of chiropractic and companies with products and services that can help meet their practice needs is good for everyone.”
