2011 ACASC Symposium to be held in Puerto Rico

Chiropractic Economics January 14, 2011

January 14, 2011 — The American Chiropractic Association Sports Council (ACASC) will be sponsoring its annual Sports Sciences Symposium and General Membership Meeting in the picturesque San Juan, Puerto Rico, July 29-31, 2011.

Topics for continuing education credits this year will include: Injury Specific Nutrition for Recovery and Repair, Sports Chiropractic Now and in the Future, Vibrational Therapy and the Shoulder, Sports Medicine and the TRX, and the Psychology of Sport.

As in previous years, there will be poster presentations and vendors — as well as tours of the island and salsa dancing! Additionally, the ACASC will be hosting a round table discussion forum giving the opportunity for veterans in the sports chiropractic arena to share stories and interact with newer ACASC attendees.

Please save the date and make your plans to join in on this exciting event at the Caribe Hilton Hotel!

To make reservations, individuals may call the Reservations Department at 787-721-0303, ext. 2156; 800-468-8585; 787-724-6992 (fax); or e-mail  reservations@CaribeHilton.com.

Be advised that a credit card is required to guarantee room reservations. Group code is ACAA11. U.S. citizens do not require a passport to travel between the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Please contact Shane Espinoza, DC, CCSP, at vicepres2@acasc.org or visit the ACASC website for more information.
