This winter, Minnesota residents seek chiropractic care

Chiropractic Economics January 12, 2011

January 12, 2011 — News 12 in Mankato, Minn., recently reported on the influx of patients seeking chiropractic care after sustaining injuries in harsh winter weather.

To prevent common problems before they occur, local DCs recommend using an ergonomic shovel, bending the knees instead of the back while shoveling and avoiding throwing show over drifts higher than chest-height. Watch the report now.

The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) has a Healthy Living patient education fact titled, “Winter Activities: Tips to Avoid Injury” which includes safe snow-shoveling tips.
