A.C. Grace launches Unique Omega Krill Oil

Chiropractic Economics February 10, 2010

Big Sandy, TX – A.C. Grace Company today announced the introduction of Unique Omega Krill Oil – containing pure oil from Antarctic Krill, providing an optimal combination of Omega-3 fatty acids, phospholipids and critical antioxidants to support heart and joint health. Unlike fish oil, the Omega-3 fatty acids in Unique Omega Krill Oil are absorbed and carried to the body’s cells in phospholipid form. Phospholipids form the structural basis of cell membranes and are effectively utilized by the body.
“Our customers, including Doctors worldwide who have been using and recommending our Vitamin E products for nearly a half-century, asked us to provide an Omega product that they could include in their suggested supplementation protocols,” says Lyn Capps, President of A.C. Grace. “Our product research team found that pure oil extracted from the Antarctic Krill species Euphausia Superba is rich in Omega-3, mainly in the phospholipid form, and has been found to have antioxidant potency up to 48 times higher than fish oil in terms of ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) values.”
Benefits attributed to Omega-3 include reduced risk and improved treatment outcomes regarding cardiovascular disease and inflammatory joint diseases. Better brain and central nervous system development, improved cognitive functioning, and improved skin health are additional benefits. Research indicates that even more Omega-3 benefits for individuals will be identified and that greater intake can lead to better general health.
