Small Business Development Centers praise Business Plan Pro software

Chiropractic Economics August 7, 2008

EUGENE, OR, August 01, 2008 – Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offices across North America are finding Palo Alto Software and its best-selling Business Plan Pro software an invaluable asset for their clients.

In Houston, a semi-monthly computer workshop with Business Plan Pro software gives both new and existing businesses the opportunity to discover the key elements of a business plan and the tools to put it all together. Gina Mattei, Director of Training, notes that these entrepreneurs are better prepared to get the most out of their meeting with an SBDC consultant, having the advantage of fully documented ideas and projections in a flexible electronic format.

Tim Shea, SBDC counselor at Clackamas Community College in Milwaukie, recently thanked Palo Alto Software for its “unwavering and generous support” over the past 10 years. He continued, “I am always impressed with the forward thinking the company, and Tim Berry, do around the concept of business planning…the new ‘plan-as-you-go’ strategy is brilliant!”

Shea confirmed Mattei’s observation that Business Plan Pro helps SBDC clients create solid, well-thought-out plans, noting, “These plans are always ahead of the pack in quality, thoughtfulness and thoroughness… It makes it much easier to help them implement and achieve their goals.”

And Business Plan Pro isn’t just for U.S.-based entrepreneurs. Julio García de las Mestas, Development Manager of the Mexican Association of Small Business Development Centers, was effusive in his praise. “For the SBDCs of the Mexican network, the use of tools like Business Plan Pro can make the difference for the centers to really reach their target population and create impact within their communities.”
