ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics launches 2025-2026 hybrid program cohort

Chiropractic Economics Staff February 27, 2025

ACA Council on Chiropractic PediatricsThe American Chiropractic Association (ACA) Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics has launched its 2025-2026 hybrid program, a 300-hour course of study that prepares doctors of chiropractic for the pediatrics diplomate certification exam.

The program, noted an ACA press release, combines online learning with in-person training, allowing participants to complete coursework at their own pace. It gives DCs a strong foundation in pediatric care, helping them understand normal developmental milestones from birth to age 16. Graduates will gain the skills needed to treat young patients in chiropractic and integrative healthcare settings.

Curriculum structure

The curriculum includes 250 hours of online learning on Learn ACA, along with in-person, hands-on training. The coursework is divided into four sections, each with short online units followed by quick assessments. These assessments help ensure participants stay on track before attending the in-person sessions. The program takes 17 to 24 months to complete.

“We are excited to offer the profession a program that delivers high-quality instruction in chiropractic pediatrics and the opportunity for hands-on skills development in a format that we hope will be accessible to more doctors who are interested in expanding their expertise in this important area of practice,” said Jennifer Brocker, DC, DICCP, president of the ACA Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics.

Registration is open until May 1. For details, visit acatoday.org.

About the American Chiropractic Association

The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is the largest professional chiropractic organization in the United States. ACA attracts the most principled and accomplished chiropractors, who understand that it takes more to be called an ACA chiropractor. We are leading our profession in the most constructive and far-reaching ways—by working hand in hand with other health care professionals, by lobbying for pro-chiropractic legislation and policies, by supporting meaningful research and by using that research to inform our treatment practices. We also provide professional and educational opportunities for all our members and are committed to being a positive and unifying force for the practice of modern chiropractic.
