Therapeutic Potential of Topical Cannabinoids

February 24 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

CB1 and CB2 receptors are found in virtually all cell types of the skin. In fact, the skin has a significant capacity to synthesize and respond to cannabinoids, including CBD. While anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of cannabinoids are understood, it has now become clear that the ECS plays a role in healthy skin and a range of dermatological conditions as well.

In this free CE Credit* webinar, Dr. Stefan Kuprowsky will share his insights based on available research, as well as from his professional experience as a naturopathic clinician.

Dr. Kuprowsky’s presentation will include a review of:

• The skin’s endocannabinoid system and how cannabinoids act on its receptors
• What scientific research shows on effects of CBD used topically
• Other beneficial cannabinoid-like molecules, including PEA
• Variety of clinical applications of cannabinoid-containing topicals

Following his presentation, Dr. Kuprowsky will conduct a Q&A Session with attendees.

If you cannot attend the live event but are interested in this webinar, please register to receive the recording afterwards.
