Spotting Axial Spondyloarthritis in Chiropractic Settings: Is AxSpA Behind Your Patient’s Back Pain?
July 20, 2022 - November 29, 2022
FreeEnhance Your Skills and Empower Your Patients
Although an estimated 3.2 million Americans suffer from Axial Spondyloarthritis (axSpA), this painful
inflammatory rheumatic condition that primarily affects the spine remains relatively unknown and
misunderstood. With back pain and stiffness being the most common symptoms, chiropractors are
among the first healthcare providers to encounter undiagnosed axSpA patients—making you a
frontline doc perfectly positioned to help sufferers get diagnosed and referred to the right medical specialists.
At the Spondylitis Association of America, we’re on a mission to raise awareness about axSpA among
chiropractors and DC students, which is why we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new
CE credit course. You’ll get the tools you need to recognize potential cases, know when to refer, and
help patients manage symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnosis, timely treatment, and optimal patient outcomes.
