Course Description: Shoulder pain is a common reason people seek chiropractic care. The shoulder complex is prone to injury due to its complicated structure. Shoulder dysfunction leads to pain and limited performance in the upper extremity. Chiropractic treatment to the shoulder helps restore proper skeletal motion and optimize nerve flow. This two-hour course covers in-office chiropractic treatment to the shoulder complex. Adjustment techniques, muscle work and stretching methods for the shoulder are described in detail.

Course Outline:

1)     Detailed description of in-office chiropractic treatment.

2)     Application of chiropractic extremity adjustment techniques.

3)     Proper technique of muscle work to the shoulder complex.

4)     Comprehensive coverage of passive stretching methods.

Donald A. Ozello, DC, CCSM, CCN graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1995. He is the owner and treating doctor at Championship Chiropractic in Las Vegas, Nevada. His mission is to educate and inspire others to live healthier, fitter, more functional lives. He has a family practice but his passion is the prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Doctor Donald A. Ozello is a faculty member of CCED Seminars where he teaches online Chiropractic Continuing Education webinars in sports medicine. He holds faculty status with Texas Chiropractic College’s Post Graduate Studies and Continuing Education Division.
