Halstead will share her insights about life as an “F4CP Champion” at the upcoming Parker Seminars Las Vegas, during F4CP’s session, “The Ultimate ‘Catch.’” The session takes place Jan. 9 at 2:30 p.m. She will then sign copies of her book at the Knowledge Bar at 6 p.m.
“Becky Halstead’s first book draws from her extraordinary life and years spent building successful teams under challenging conditions,” says Kent S. Greenawalt, chairman, F4CP. “While fibromyalgia curtailed Becky’s military career, chiropractic improved her joint motion, helped reduce her fatigue and positively impacted her emotional and mental fitness. Her humorous, poignant and always relevant stories have the power to ignite substantial personal and professional growth in everyone who reads this book.”
The first female Commanding General in U.S. military history to lead at the strategic level in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Halstead was devastated when the relentless and discomforting symptoms of fibromyalgia forced her into early retirement.
Halstead, who will donate a portion of her book sale proceeds from the seminar to F4CP, says, “After turning to chiropractic to treat my fibromyalgia, I was able to live free of pains and prescription dependency. I hope my book will compel readers to strive for better quality of life in order to learn, do and be more in their quest for leadership excellence.”
