The company enhanced the EHR platform with new features as part of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services EHR Incentive Program. InfoGard Laboratories completed the platform certification review. Some of the new features within the platform which meets the Stage 2 requirements include:
- Additional health education: Giving additional information on drugs, allergies, and lab result
- Direct messaging: Secure messaging for transitions of care and patient referrals between medical providers compatible with other software
- Secure electronic messaging to communicate with patients
- Provide patients access to view online, download, and transmit their health information
- Expanded medical codes vocabulary
- Family history and smoking status tracking
- Additional immunization compatibility: Vaccine information
