May 16, 2011 — Chiro One Wellness Centers’ Chiros Care Free Clinic recently moved into its new home at Heartland Health Outreach and now the non-profit organization is ready to see patients at its new location.
Previously held at Inspiration Corporation on Broadway in Chicago, Chiros Care will now be open Fridays at Heartland Health Outreach as well as one weekend monthly at Inspiration Corporation.
Chiros Care offers complimentary chiropractic care to indigent, homeless, and at-risk people of Chicago who do not have health insurance and who cannot afford medical care and has been serving the homeless population since May of 2010.
Chiros Care open hours:
- When: Friday, May 13, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Where: Heartland Health Outreach* located at 1015 W. Lawrence Ave. Chicago, IL 60640
*Serving those experiencing homelessness.
- When: Saturday, May 14, 2011 from 7:30 am to 10:30 a.m.
- Where: Inspiration Corporation located at 4554 N. Broadway St. Ste. 207 Chicago, IL 60640
Chiros Care was brought to fruition when Chief Operations Officer and founding partner, Dr. Sam Wang and Chiro One Wellness Center of Evanston Clinic Director, Dr. Cori Bauer teamed together to make this dream a reality.
Chiro One Wellness Centers is supporting this effort with company-wide volunteers from all locations and Heartland Health Alliance and Inspiration Corporation are generously offering clinic space to provide this benefit to their participants as well as local shelters.
