Vet your chiropractic table vendor

Chiropractic Economics September 30, 2013

Ask your chiropractic table vendorBy Brandi Schlossberg

Whether you are fresh out of training or a seasoned chiropractic professional, a chiropractic table is vital to your successful practice. When it comes to vetting your chiropractic table vendor, be sure to do your homework.

First, investigate the vendor’s reputation and reliability. Unfortunately, this is not as simple as just looking to see how long the vendor has been in business. Perform research online. Many professionals talk to each other on the Web about their experiences via social media and the Internet. Some may even conduct product and service reviews, for example. Find out what others have to say about your potential prospect.

Once you’re satisfied with what you find, call the company on the telephone. Reputable vendors will have a telephone number you can use to access an employee and ask questions about the chiropractic tables and the purchasing process. You can ask when the vendor first began selling tables to professional chiropractors.

A chiropractic table vendor should also have a full-time administrative staff and educated sales professionals who are prepared to answer any questions you may have about your prospective purchase. When you are talking to one of these sales professionals, be sure to ask whether the company maintains service professionals to assist chiropractors who may be having issues or problems with their tables. These service professionals should be certified by the manufacturer of your chiropractic table to conduct repairs under warranty.

Ask the vendor who will come out to fix any potential issues with your chiropractic table and about how long you can expect to be without your table if it happens to need a new part and professional repair.
