Transform Wellness functional medicine education series

EndoBalance, a company dedicated to providing doctors an evidence-based approach to wellness based on the research of allostatic load, announced the launch of Transform Wellness Education Series with participation from experts in functional medicine including: Ronda Nelson, PhD, MH; Annette Schippel, DC; Bill Hemmer, DC; Jill Shaw, DC; and others TBA.

The Transform Wellness Education Series is a free webinar series with local study groups and CE accredited seminars that will focus on building a community of functional medicine doctors using evidence-based natural methods. “This educational series provides a framework with professional tools used to effectively integrate functional medicine products and services,” said Peter Wisniewski, host of the Transform Wellness Series.

Webinar topics include:

  • Support and management of the HPA Axis
  • Functional approach to endocrinologyTransform Wellness functional medicine logo
  • Proven practice management tips
  • Implementing nutrition into your practice
  • Effective clinical use of herbs

“I have never before seen a group of seasoned educators come together in such an organized fashion to build awareness for natural outcome-based functional wellness services,” said Hemmer, an educator for Transform Wellness.

Webinar replays are available on the website transformwellness.org in the schedule after each individual session. Webinars include moderated question and answer sessions, polls, notes, and in-office marketing tools. “The goal of the series is to build awareness, increase the clinical skills, and help doctors with strategies to add cash-based wellness products and services,” said Nelson, an educator for Transform Wellness.

“Transform Wellness has huge potential to disrupt the current healthcare educational system with functional wellness, a completely new wellness category and an untapped market,” said Schippel, founder of Functional Endocrinology. “It is the first series that operates outside of supplement and laboratory company financial support, allowing for an uncompromised education and research foundation.”

This series is made in partnership with EndoBalance who is helping facilitate the series with technical, design, and moderation assistance. EndoBalance is a software platform designed for the wellness practitioner to understand their patient’s ability to adapt to stress through an evidence-based wellness assessment. The software and system assist the doctor in recommending wellness products and services based on the endocrine gland and body system stress. It utilizes the latest cloud-technology so the doctor can access patient information remotely while having staff input metrics from an in office assessment.
