One of the world’s largest chiropractic conferences is on for November.
The Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) confirmed this week that The National will remain both an in-person and virtual conference in Orlando on Nov. 5-8, 2020, buoyed by “the safest possible environment with proper social distancing and hygiene protocols,” and the Orlando area currently hosting numerous successful and safe large events.
The hybrid in-person and virtual event is in response to the FCA meeting the needs of chiropractors across the country.
“We are providing our attendees with what they have loudly voiced they wanted — a hybrid event,” said FCA Officer of Conventions & Program Development Jen Porro. “People can attend, even if they aren’t ready for a face-to-face event. Orange County [Orlando] has started to host large events successfully. Florida has no flight restrictions on people coming in from any state, and we have never felt more confident in implementing our event safety guidelines as they are far and above what most groups are doing.”
The National 2020 by Florida Chiropractic Association is “the premier chiropractic convention and expo in the world” and will be hosted at the Hyatt Orlando. The convention is scheduled to boast more than 80 internationally-renowned speakers.
The FCA announced that for those that have pre-registered for The National 2020 or made hotel reservations for its former date, the transition to the new Nov. 5-8 conference date will be seamless, and that registrants will be updated via email.
“The National has always aimed to be a centerpiece for the chiropractic profession to come together, providing as many options for attendees as possible as we mirror the wide and diverse scope of our beloved profession,” Porro says. “We are bringing our ‘something for everyone’ effort and have worked tirelessly during the past few months to offer not just a few hours online, but a robust 20 hours streamed for continuing education and the ability to view and interact with every exhibitor from the comfort of your own home. Our platform is state of the art and quite robust as we wanted to offer our attendees the best.”
