TCC, WCU enter educational partnership

Chiropractic Economics December 18, 2011

TCC-WCUDecember 18, 2011 — Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) and West Chester University of Pennsylvania (WCU) have entered into an articulation agreement, which goes into effect immediately.

This partnership serves to facilitate the admission and academic transfer of qualified WCU students in the exercise science bachelor of science program to the TCC doctor of chiropractic program (DCP). Students completing the required undergraduate coursework at WCU with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 (including a minimum of 2.0 in each course) and completing the TCC application process are guaranteed acceptance into the DCP.

“This agreement with our new friends at West Chester University signifies the importance to TCC of building partnerships with outstanding institutions from different areas of the country,” said Dr. Clay McDonald, TCC provost. “We strive to build relationships with academic institutions who share our interest in offering the most exciting and rewarding educational opportunities possible to our students.”

“We very much look forward to working with Texas Chiropractic College in the years ahead,” said Dr. Donald E. Barr, dean of the College of Health Sciences at WCU. “This new relationship provides our students with some wonderful opportunities that we value a great deal.”
