TCC names director of development and marketing

RGB-JackieAugust 19, 2011— Texas Chiropractic College has named Jackie Medina to the position of director of development and marketing, TCC President Dr. Richard G. Brassard announced recently.

“We are excited to welcome Jackie to the Texas Chiropractic College family,” said Brassard. “She is a proven fundraiser and event planner who I believe will help us achieve our long-term goals.”

Medina brings 10 years of success as a non-profit fundraiser and development officer to Texas, including eight years as the Southwest Regional Development Coordinator for the United States Fund for UNICEF. She has also worked with Mental Health America of Greater Houston and Glitterati Affairs Event Management. A 2000 graduate of the University of Houston with a bachelor’s of business administration, she is an active volunteer with Wilhelm Scholê International, U.S. China Relations Foundation and Fodice Foundation.

“It is a privilege and honor to be a part of such a recognized Institution,” said Medina. “I am enthusiastic to share my years of experience, professional acquaintances and contacts to assist in TCC’s mission and objectives and future.”

As the director of development and marketing, Medina will be responsible for all development and marketing activities of the college and serve as the chief development officer and Ad Hoc member of the president’s Administrative Cabinet. She additionally will supervise and lead the Institutional Advancement staff.
