Talk the ‘TIC elevates awareness of chiropractic

Chiropractic Economics May 23, 2011

May 23, 2011 — Eight students will compete in Talk the ‘Tic at Northwestern Health Sciences University May 25. Talk the ‘Tic is a national competition that challenges students to develop a brief health talk on the benefits of chiropractic care.

According to Talk the ‘TIC organizers, the premise is that students who develop a chiropractic health talk in school are better prepared to succeed in their practice.

The theme for the 2011 Talk the ‘Tic is elevate. The goal is to elevate the preparedness of students as they begin practicing, elevate the awareness of chiropractic care and its benefits and elevate the awareness of Talk the ‘TIC.

The competition takes place May 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the auditorium. The winner will move on to the international competition finals at Parker College of Chiropractic, in Dallas, July 6, where they will present their health talk to more than 1,000 audience members.
