Standard Process to award 4 SACA student scholarships

Chiropractic Economics January 11, 2010

January 11, 2010 — Standard Process has announced four SACA student scholarships, set at $2,500 each. The scholarships will be awarded during ACA’s National Chiropractic Legislative Conference, Feb. 24, 2010, in Washington, DC. The applicant must attend the conference to win.

The deadline for applications is Jan. 29, 2010, 5 p.m. PST.

Application criteria

• Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (provide copy of transcript),

• Applicant must be a SACA member in good standing,

• Provide a CV of your contributions to the chiropractic profession, to the college and to the community,

• Include a letter of recommendation,

• Write a 500 word to 750 word essay on the following topic: With the wellness movement gaining momentum in the United States, many chiropractors feel the our profession should lead the “wellness revolution.” If you agree, please explain how, in your opinion, chiropractic should be involved in the wellness movement and what role does whole-food nutrition play in it. If you do not agree, please explain your reasoning.
