Standard Process Inc. awards employee promotion

May 30, 2014 — At its corporate headquarters in Palmyra, Wisconsin, Standard Process Inc. has announced the promotion of Amber Thompson within the company’s research and development department. Thompson joined the research and development department at Standard Process in 2008 as researcher I and will now transition to the role of researcher II.

Thompson of Jefferson, Wisconsin, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in psychology in 2000. She later earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in biotechnology from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 2008.

In her new role, Thompson will continue to support the development of the company’s dietary supplements by conducting assay development, performing cell culture experiments and ensuring the high quality of the department’s manufacturing practices.
