Key champions of chiropractic continue their support of ACA’s public awareness campaign.
August 15, 2014 — The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) announced that Foot Levelers and Standard Process will help raise public awareness of the benefits of chiropractic services by sponsoring National Chiropractic Health Month (NCHM) in October 2014.
As third-year sponsors for NCHM, Standard Process, manufacturer of nutritional whole food supplements, and Foot Levelers, a provider of individually designed stabilizing orthotics and other healthcare products, are well known throughout the chiropractic industry for their philanthropy and dedication to advancing the chiropractic profession.
“Foot Levelers is excited to sponsor National Chiropractic Health Month this October, the perfect opportunity to remind patients why turning to ‘Conservative Care First!’ is so important,” Kent Greenawalt, CEO and chairman of Foot Levelers, said. “Not only is chiropractic’s safe, non-invasive and natural approach firmly supported by clinical evidence, its whole-body, patient-centered model often results in greater patient satisfaction and lower cost of care.”
Standard Process President Charles C. DuBois expressed a similar sentiment.
“When I learn from patients how their quality of life has been improved with nutrition and chiropractic care, it reinforces the importance of our dedication to the profession,” he said. “Supporting the ACA’s efforts to showcase the benefits of chiropractic care and nutrition will help improve more lives, and that’s a mission that I take very seriously.”
NCHM, ACA’s nationwide observance held each October, promotes a healthy lifestyle enhanced by chiropractic’s natural, whole-person, patient-centered approach to wellness and pain relief. This year’s theme — “Conservative Care First!” — will educate people about the benefits of exhausting chiropractic care or other conservative healthcare options first before turning to riskier, more complex forms of treatment.
“Standard Process and Foot Levelers are great partners for ACA in its efforts this year to promote a conservative approach to healthcare,” ACA President Anthony Hamm, DC, said. “These companies and their products enhance the services that doctors of chiropractic provide to their patients. We thank them for their ongoing contributions to the health of our patients.”
ACA provides a free online NCHM toolkit to anyone. The kit contains information and resources for planning and implementing activities at local and regional levels. Learn more at www.acatoday.org/NCHM.
