Sigma Instruments ends distribution deal with The Pro-Adjuster Group

Chiropractic Economics October 19, 2009

Pittsburgh, October 9, 2009 (Global Newswire) — Sigma Instruments, Inc., located in Pittsburgh, PA, announced today that it recently terminated its North American distribution arrangement with Pro-Solutions for Chiropractic Inc. a/k/a The Pro-Adjuster Group located in McMurray, PA.  Pro-Solutions had been a distributor of Sigma’s patented analysis and adjusting equipment and technology.  Also today, Sigma unveiled its strategic plan to realign its global sales and distribution model to accommodate the recent worldwide sales growth of its equipment.
Since its inception, Sigma has successfully marketed a variety of therapeutic products through various distribution channels in 21 countries throughout the world.  Sigma’s patented technology is designed to facilitate a systematic and objective approach for analyzing and treating musculoskelatal pain.  In North America, Sigma has designed, developed and manufactured its patented adjusting equipment and technology for the past 13 years.
With this realignment, Sigma will now market its products in North America under its new brand “Sigma ProACT.”  Along with this branding initiative, Sigma will, over the next 60 days, unveil new products and enhancements to its existing product line.
“Sigma is excited about its decision to realign its sales and distribution model to better serve Doctors of Chiropractic and ultimately their patients,” stated John Crunick, President of Sigma.  “Our mission is simple.  We want to place our proven equipment and technology in the hands of DCs to enable them to provide state-of-the-art patient care.  The realignment of our current distribution model coupled with the upcoming enhancements to, and expansion of, our existing product line will accomplish this objective.  All of these changes are designed to improve pricing and service to the Chiropractic industry.”

Any customers who have acquired Sigma’s equipment from Pro-Solutions for Chiropractic by Dr. Pisciottano can directly contact Sigma for service and warranty needs or questions regarding this release.
Additional details concerning these changes and the new upcoming products and enhancements can be obtained at www.sigma-instruments.com.

Inquiries from interested parties are also welcome to contact Sigma Instruments directly at 724-776-9500.
