Ronald Tripp re-elected as NBCE District IV Director

TrippMugMay 12, 2014 — Ronald B. Tripp Jr., DC, of Norman, Oklahoma, was re-elected to serve a three-year term as District IV Director of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE). Tripp was first elected to this position in 2011.

The election took place at the NBCE Annual State Delegates Business Meeting on May 2 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Tripp will serve District IV, which includes the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.

Tripp is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and currently practices in Norman, Oklahoma. He is the former president of the Oklahoma Board of Chiropractic Examiners and formerly served the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards (FCLB) as District IV Director and FCLB Chairman. He was awarded the FCLB’s highest honor, the George W. Arvidson Award, in 2010.

In addition to his distinguished career in chiropractic, Tripp was the 1994 FIAS World Sambo Champion and a seven-time World Medalist from 1988-1994. He served as President of USA Judo from 2000-2008 and as a member of the United States Olympic Committee from 2000-2004.
