PostureScreen Mobile app gets attention in iTunes App Store

July 26, 2011 — Since its introduction into the iTunes App Store in late December 2010, PostureScreen Mobile application has drawn quite a lot of attention from healthcare practitioners and therapists worldwide, and now recently from Apple.

Due to this high exposure, it’s said that Apple has placed it consistently in the top 10 apps under the “Healthcare & Fitness” category for “What’s Hot” in the App Store.

The app is marketed as the first ever mobile posture screening software that can be used on the iPod Touch, iPhone 3GS/4, as well as the iPad. It aims to give you the ability to send “on the fly” well-written PostureScreen postural assessments as a PDF document to the perspective patient via email, or print wirelessly to e-print certified printers.

Healthcare practitioners, therapists, fitness professionals, and their staff can now go out into the community to perform spinal/postural screenings anywhere, anytime without the need of lugging around heavy equipment. Within the office, providers should be able to do their screenings within 30 seconds (which used to take five to 10 minutes).
