Palmer College of Chiropractic announces record spring enrollment, new planned housing

Rick Vach March 26, 2021

Palmer College announced record enrollment this spring at its Davenport, Iowa campus, and record and near-record attendance at its campuses in California and Florida. The school expects its student population to increase from 900 to 1,500 in Davenport, with 400 living on campus.

To adjust for increased enrollment the Davenport campus is changing plans to build an additional athletic field and will instead build an additional student housing complex.

The college says enrollment reached its highest levels for the spring at the Davenport campus in eight years.

The Port Orange, Fla., campus is expecting the largest spring term enrollment since it opened in 2002, and the San Jose, Calif., campus is on track for its largest spring enrollment in 10 years.

“Compared to the past two years, applications are up by 30% in fiscal year 2021,” Michael Norris, Ph.D., vice chancellor for admissions, told KWQC TV.
