Northwestern Health Sciences University presents 85 degrees

Chiropractic Economics April 22, 2010

April 22, 2010 — Students from across the continent received Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from the College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University April 9, 2010.

This was Northwestern’s 126th chiropractic commencement ceremony. The graduating class consisted of 85 students, 13 of whom graduated with academic honors.

From Georgia to Manitoba, students in this graduating class hailed from 15 different states and three Canadian provinces. Within this class, 30 students earned a bachelor of science degree in human biology. Class valedictorian was awarded to Andrea Marie Burckhard.

Graduating chiropractic student Matthew Christenson was chosen by the class to give the student greeting. Rick McMichael, DC, FACC, FICC, president of the American Chiropractic Association, delivered the commencement address.

More than 1,000 people attended the ceremony and reception, held on Northwestern’s campus.
