December 23, 2008 — The School of Massage Therapy and the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University held their fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 13, 2008. The University presented 20 students with a certificate in massage therapy, as well as five students with a master’s degree in acupuncture, and 11 students with a master’s degree in Oriental medicine.
The MCAOM commencement address was delivered by Huan Ma, PhD, LAc, associate professor at Northwestern. A video presentation created by graduate Kristianne Seelye was shown, featuring the graduating class.
The Massage Therapy commencement address was delivered by Rosie Ward, PhD, MPH, CHES, Certified Intrinsic Coach and Health Management Consultant at RJF Agencies Inc. The student greeting was delivered by Randy Matheus, a student from the graduating class.
The presidential greeting was presented by Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern, at both ceremonies.
