Nike Oregon Project Head Coach Alberto Salazar utilizes Multi Radiance Medical lasers on elite runners

Chiropractic Economics May 15, 2014

Multi_Radiance_Medical_Logo_Hi_resMay 15, 2014 — Multi Radiance Medical (MRM), manufacturer and marketer of FDA-cleared lasers for drug-free pain relief, announced that Alberto Salazar, previously one of the top distance runners in the world and currently the head coach of the Nike Oregon Project, utilizes Multi Radiance lasers to help athletes prepare, perform, and recover from injuries until the pain is completely resolved. MR4 LaserStim/LaserShower and the MR4 ACTIV cordless laser may provide a quick and effective drug-free alternative to prescription medication.

“MR4 lasers are now my go-to modalities for addressing lower extremity injuries that are slow to heal,” said Salazar, who set the world record for the New York City Marathon in 1981 and is currently renowned for helping to reshape the status of American distance running. “The devices are typically used on all athletes in the facility, but I always send the portable MR4 ACTIV with any athlete who is traveling or heading to an event. We have seen great results.”

MR4 laser technology’s proven, proprietary, synergistic wavelength laser/light/magnetic field combinations are said to maximize laser treatment capabilities, accelerating the recovery process and temporarily relieving pain associated with injuries and chronic conditions.

“We’re pleased to contribute to the success of coaches and athletes involved in the Nike Oregon Project, a group that was created to promote American long-distance running through elite coaching and revolutionary training methods,” Max Kanarsky, president and CEO of MRM, said. “The Project is one of the most prestigious training groups in the world, committed to developing the best distance runners in the world through rigorous training and the utilization of cutting-edge sports science and performance technology. MRM lasers are clearly in this elite category.”
