May 23, 2016—During Logan University’s (Logan) Spring Symposium, held April 29 on its Chesterfield, Missouri, campus, Standard Process Inc. awarded $6,000 in chiropractic scholarships. The winners of the three $2,000 scholarships are Kate Cline, Stephanie Siewert and Chloe Tillman. Each student is in her fifth trimester of classes at Logan.
“Standard Process has been extremely generous in educating and supporting students just like me,” said Cline. “I greatly appreciate Standard Process for investing in my future as a holistic healthcare professional and will be forever grateful.”
To qualify for the scholarship program, students need a cumulative grade point average of 2.9 or higher, a list of contributions to the profession, college and community, a letter of recommendation from a Logan professor, and a 500-word essay discussing the use of nutrition in a future practice and how they will embrace a whole food philosophy.
Standard Process, a visionary leader in whole food nutrient solutions, is dedicated to its long-term educational efforts to involve future health care professionals in the study of whole food nutrition.
“Standard Process is proud to have provided scholarships to Logan students since 2011,”said John Nab, chiropractor and Standard Process director of professional development. “We believe having the knowledge to integrate nutrition into the chiropractic wellness model will help Logan’s students become the catalysts for healthier lifestyle choices.”
