July 28, 2010 — George A. Goodman, DC, FICC, president of Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs, announced several personnel appointments of doctors of chiropractic as clinicians at Logan’s health centers.
Instructor Jennifer C. Kane, DC, formerly a part-time clinician in the Logan Student Health Center, has been named a full-time clinician at Logan’s St. Peter’s Health Center. Aimee R. Jokerst, DC, FIAMA, has been appointed a full-time clinician at Logan’s Southroads HealthCenter. Patricia A. Estrada, DC, has joined the Logan staff as a full-time clinician at Logan’s Yorkshire Health Center in Webster Groves.
Kane has served as a part-time clinician at the Student Health Center on Logan’s campus in Chesterfield since 2004. In her new position as a health clinician, she will work at Logan’s St. Peters Health Center. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Logan in April 2001.
Jokerst brings 13 years of field experience to her new position as a health center clinician at Logan’s Southroads Health Center. After graduating from Logan in August 1997, Jokerst opened her own practice, Jokerst Chiropractic Health Center: A Creating Wellness Center, in Jefferson City, Mo. where she was the lead chiropractic physician, offering chiropractic and acupuncture services.
Estrada originally began work at Logan in 1999 as a physiologic therapy assistant at the school’s Montgomery Health Center. After graduating from Logan, Estrada moved to Costa Rica to work for Quiropráctica Mundial as an associate for one of its four high-volume chiropractic clinics and participated in weekly local radio and television educational segments on chiropractic and health.
