Chiropractic Economics Staff January 17, 2014

Dr_Sukovich_R_Jan2014_cmykJanuary 16, 2014 — Laser Spine Institute, a leader in minimally invasive spine surgery, recently welcomed orthopedic spine surgeon, William Sukovich, MD, to its Philadelphia surgical center. Sukovich will perform minimally invasive spine procedures on patients suffering from neck and back pain with the goal of helping them improve their overall quality of life.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Sukovich comes to Laser Spine Institute with an established reputation in the spine industry. Prior to joining Laser Spine Institute, he served as the director of spine surgery with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Naval Medical Center, as well as the director of Spinal Surgery Associates, PLC at Martha Jefferson Hospital. He was most recently a consultant at Pain Management Associates in Charlottesville, Va.

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Sukovich to Laser Spine Institute as we continue to address the growing demand of patients searching for neck and back pain relief in the Northeast region,” said Dotty Bollinger, LSI president and COO.  “Dr. Sukovich’s expertise, reputation and dedication to patients will be valuable to our practice as we continue our commitment to providing the best medical outcomes in a patient-centric, customer service environment.”

“I’m delighted to join Laser Spine Institute, with its deep commitment to patient care,” said Dr. Sukovich. “My goal as a surgeon is to help patients find minimally invasive solutions to their back pain and I look forward to continuing my mission.”

Sukovich is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the American Medical Association. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College and completed his residency and fellowship at New York University Medical Center.
