Integrative Therapeutics rebrands to help healthcare professionals cultivate healthy practices

Chiropractic Economics August 7, 2013

Integrative_Therapeutics_LogoAugust 7, 2013 — Integrative Therapeutics, a leading manufacturer of science-based nutritional supplements, is taking steps to help healthcare professionals cultivate healthy practices and deliver improved patient health.

At the core of the rebranding is the introduction of the integral symbol in the company’s new logo. “In calculus, the integral brings all the elements of a formula together,” explains Mandy Kraynik, vice president of Integrative Therapeutics. “For us, the integral signifies the union of science and nature that produces quality nutritional supplements.”

However, the first step in their brand evolution includes more than a new look; most importantly, it introduces new tools and resources that complement the organization’s reputation for quality and community involvement.

According to a survey conducted in 2012 by the Physicians Foundation, non-clinical issues such as paperwork and the pressure of running their business are among the things today’s physicians find least satisfying about medical practice. Not surprisingly, most physicians list patient relationships as the most satisfying part of their job.

“Today’s healthcare professionals aren’t looking for another product supplier that merely distributes supplements. They want a partner who can provide them with the tools and resources they need to spend less time managing their business and more time caring for patients,” said Kraynik. “That’s what this brand evolution is all about — serving both our customers, and the greater integrative medicine community, in more tangible and meaningful ways.”

This shift in ideology focuses on providing easier access to ingredient and product information as well as new professional resources like their patient-centered therapeutic programs. These programs provide healthcare professionals the flexibility to do everything from assessing patients’ unique nutritional needs to guiding dietary, laboratory, and supplemental recommendations. The Digestive Restoration Program is the first in a series of patient-centered programs to be unveiled over the course of the next year.

Integrative’s new website, integrativepro.com was designed to provide healthcare professionals with the research and resources they need to make informed decisions about their patients and their practice. The clean, easy-to-navigate infrastructure is comprised of two primary areas — products and resources. The intuitive design allows for easier product searching, including the option to filter by common dietary sensitivities or preferred form, accounting for unique patient needs. The new site is responsive, meaning its functionality was built to be accessed across all digital platforms, including tablets and mobile devices.

One of the most noteworthy enhancements offered on Integrative’s new website is an interactive Drug-Nutrient Interaction Checker. The organization has partnered with Aisle7 (formerly Healthnotes) to launch a brand new platform that allows registered site users to find potential drug and nutrient interactions that could affect their supplement recommendations. After selecting the drug, nutrient, or herb in question, the results can easily be emailed, saved, or printed for use in office.

“This is the first step of many in bringing additional value to our customers and their patients,” said Kraynik. “We look forward to continuing to introduce additional features in the coming months.”
