Harry T. Whelan joins Medical Devices Inc.

Chiropractic Economics August 4, 2010

August 4, 2010 — Harry T. Whelan, MD, recently joined the board of directors of Medical Devices Inc. and agreed to serve as its chief science officer. 

Whelan is the Bleser Professor of Neurology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and a research scientist in the field of photobiomodulation utilizing near-infrared (NIR) and light emitting diode (LED) technology.

“I recently joined Medical Devices Inc. (MDI) as I am very excited about its future. I am proud to be on board and look forward to contributing to the development of MDI’s products and to using this technology to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from many different conditions.”

Whelan has pioneered numerous clinical studies for NASA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and the National Institutes of Health focusing on the use of LED technology.”
