June 23, 2010 — The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) announced the appointments of Mickey Burt, DC, and Fabrizio Mancini, DC, to the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
Burt, director of alumni relations at Palmer College of Chiropractic, and Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic, will be the 12th and 13th members to serve on the board comprised of chiropractic thought-leaders.
“It is a true honor to accept this appointment and join the Foundation in the great work being done for our profession,” said Mancini. “Parker College has been a long-time supporter, and I am excited to be on the board and part of the team behind the Foundation’s future campaigns.”
As a board member, both Mancini and Burt will be responsible for assisting in the development of public awareness campaigns that highlight the many benefits associated with chiropractic care. Their individual expertise and passion for the profession makes both doctors ideal candidates to help construct and develop positive marketing initiatives.
“Personally, I have been amazed by the number of public relations campaigns the Foundation has developed in such a short amount of time,” states Burt. “So when I was asked to join the Board, I jumped at the opportunity. As individuals, more of us need to do our part to market chiropractic to the public.”
