In 1952, Dr. Monte H. Greenawalt discovered a flaw in the way members of his community were being treated for pain. He figured out hard, rigid foot orthotics being prescribed by local health care providers were actually exacerbating the pain they were seeking comfort from. Out of this recognition Foot Levelers was founded. In 2022, Foot Levelers will be celebrating 70 years of helping people live healthier and happier lives.
In seven decades of hand-crafting the perfect custom orthotics, Foot Levelers has had the privilege of serving millions of patients and hundreds of thousands healthcare professionals. As a way of saying “Thanks” for the support and dedication it has received for 70 years, Foot Levelers plans to give back to the chiropractic community in 2022.

An exciting year will include special events throughout the United States, including several at Foot Levelers headquarters in Roanoke, Va. These events include for-credit seminars, both live and virtual, as well as for-credit online webinars.
In addition to events, Foot Levelers has plans to release several new revolutionary and innovative products and technologies designed to help chiropractors offer even better care to their patients. Since 1952, Foot Levelers has held numerous patents, including a patent on the only foot orthotic to support all three arches of the foot. Foot Levelers innovative spirit has also brought the first 3D foot scanner to the market.
