November 28, 2012 — Foot Levelers is getting into the holiday spirit by sponsoring the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis in three different locations — Raleigh, N.C., on Dec. 1; Roanoke, Va., on Dec. 8; and Baltimore, Md., on Dec. 9.
Foot Levelers decided to sponsor these 5K events because they believe in the Arthritis Foundation’s public service announcement for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk, “Don’t stand still for arthritis, get moving.”
“Our custom orthotic and rehabilitation products help several arthritis patients move with less pain every day,” said Chuck Carver, vice president of marketing and sales. “We wanted to support the Arthritis Foundation’s mission to help fight arthritis with movement, and these 5K events are a great way to spread holiday cheer while helping others.”
Foot Levelers has 132 employees and their families participating in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk taking place in Roanoke, Va., on Dec. 8. Every dollar raised at these events can make a difference to someone in need of help and information about arthritis. Fundraising efforts and donations help the Arthritis Foundation carry out important work in the areas of research, advocacy, programs and services, and awareness.
