March 8, 2012 — Making the public aware of the benefits and safety of chiropractic care is an important way to strengthen the profession and your practice. An excellent example of this will take place March 14, 2012, with appearance by Fabrizio Mancini, DC, president of Parker University and Parker Seminars on the Dr. Phil show.
This nationally syndicated program, followed by a passionate fan base of viewers, will bring chiropractic to the forefront and present it in a sincere, mainstream context. The opportunity came about as a result of the chiropractic treatment Mancini has provided Dr. Phil over the course of their long association.
When Dr. Phil decided to do a program about chiropractic, it was natural for him to turn to the practitioner he trusts with his own care. Dr. Phil says:
I met Dr. Mancini 14 years ago. I had never used a chiropractor, but I was open to it because when I was practicing and I worked with a lot of orthopedic surgeons, a key member of their treatment team was a properly trained chiropractor. [Dr. Mancini] did not treat my back, he treated me. You can’t have a one-legged stool and you can’t have a two-legged stool. You’ve got to have the physical, spiritual and emotional healing.
The first segment of the program introduces Mancini to the audience, and presents concepts of wellness and how chiropractic integrates into a healthy lifestyle. The second segment of the program will feature Mancini and Dr. Phil working side by side, helping a guest overcome emotional and physical stress due to a traumatic childhood experience, demonstrating each practitioner’s unique talents.
Dr. Phil will also talk about the contents of Mancini’s new book, The Power of Self-Healing, which is appropriate for readers who want to learn about living the chiropractic lifestyle of health and wellness. The book can be ordered from ChiroEco.com/selfhealing. All profits through Parker Share are used to fund Parker University and chiropractic initiatives.
Afterward, an archived version of this program will be available at drphil.com.
