F4CP partners with American Academy of Spine Physicians to enhance spine care

Chiropractic Economics November 13, 2018

November 13, 2018 – The Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) announces a brand-new opportunity for its membership to work with the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) to enhance the role and recognition of doctors of chiropractic in spine care.

“In this collaborative role, doctors of chiropractic, and Foundation members specifically, have another impressive opportunity to position themselves among multidisciplinary providers as spinal care experts,” says Sherry McAllister, DC, executive vice president, F4CP, who notes that spinal disorders are a leading cause of global pain and disability. “The mission of the AASP to promote excellence in spine care through education, innovation and collaboration directly aligns with the Foundation’s goal to raise heightened public awareness about the value of safe, effective and drug-free chiropractic to further ensure patient-centered care is top of mind among providers, as well as consumers.”

Through this collaborative initiative, all Foundation members are granted free Directory Member Status with the AASP, which entitles them to:

•      A unique user ID and PIN to access the AASP Member Dashboard

•      A full-page profile listing on International Directory of Spinecare Professionals

•      A full-page profile listing on International Directory of Spinecare Facilities

•      Access to a limited number of AASP Member resources located on the Member Dashboard

•      Access to select practice development and spinecare referral network building resources

Kent S. Greenawalt, CEO, Foot Levelers and Chairman, F4CP, continues, “We are thrilled to offer our 22K+ members with the ability to educate patients, the public and other healthcare professionals about the significant role doctors of chiropractic play in evaluating and managing spinal care through the AASP’s digital platform.” He continues, “In turn, the AASP will promote membership with the Foundation to its own database, building the chiropractic profession’s capacity to shape the future of chiropractic and its effective role in spinal care.”

Foundation members who obtain their free Directory Member status with the AASP receive a special offer to upgrade to a paid membership with AASP for half price ($150) during their first year.
