DESCRIPTION:Discover a transformative learning experience with our hybrid course\, blending online self-paced modules and hands-on weekend workshops. Whether you’re new to needling or a seasoned practitioner\, this program offers the flexibility to enroll in the full certification or choose individual courses tailored to your needs. Master acupuncture techniques through immersive\, practical training that leaves you confident and skilled. \nThis program provides doctors\, doctoral/professional students\, and other licensed health care professionals the opportunity to learn the technique of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) adjunctive therapies in levels of progression. Each level incorporates classroom and laboratory practicum to advance the attendee’s acupuncture knowledge and clinical application skills. The first 100 hours offers an overview and basic training in acupuncture theory\, techniques and traditional Chinese medical adjunctive therapies. Each program level must be completed in its entirety\, along with successful completion of all examinations. \nEach of the four sessions within the bundle must successfully be completed in its entirety with a passing score on both written and the practical final examinations to gain the certification. The hours for the 100-hour section are broken down as 80 hours of live instruction and 22 hours of online instruction totally 102 hours. \nAttend each module as a stand-alone course or enroll in the full program to fulfill the 100 hours required for the Chiropractic Acupuncture NBCE Board examination. \nAbout the Module 1 Course\nModule 1: Introduction to Acupuncture \nIntroduction to Acupuncture is the first module in our comprehensive certification track designed to provide a solid foundation in acupuncture practice. This 31-hour course combines 25 hours of hands-on live instruction with 6 hours of distance learning to ensure you gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. \nDistance Learning (6 Hours) \n\nClean Needle Technique: Emphasizing safety\, hygiene\, proper needle sterilization\, and disposal of bio-hazardous waste.\nChinese Medicine Overview: Explore the philosophy and origin of acupuncture\, including Five Element Theory\, Yin/Yang\, Qi\, Shen and Ko Cycles\, and the Horary Cycle.\nTCM Diagnostic Methods: Learn the basics of inspection\, auscultation\, inquiry\, and palpation\, with a focus on pulse diagnosis.\n\nLive Instruction (25 Hours) \n\nPractical Demonstrations: Engage in practical demonstrations of commonly used acupuncture points and patterns\, including Dr. Jon Sunderladge’s patterns I and II.\nMeridians I: Detailed descriptions and hands-on practice with the twelve main meridians (CV\, GV\, LU\, LI\, ST\, SP\, HT\, SI)\, covering their locations\, functions\, and clinical applications.\nExaminations: Participate in practical examinations to demonstrate your proficiency in clean needle safety and hygiene.\n\nRegistration Options: \nYou can register to attend only this Module 1 course for CE credit (up to 31 CE hours available for chiropractors in Florida and any state that accepts PACE). \n-or- \nEnroll in the full certification program that includes all online coursework and attendnace at all four in-person modules. \nLearn More and Register Online using the link below \nhttps://southeast-sports-seminars.thinkific.com/courses/100hr-acupuncture-cert \n  \n
